Submission: Cyclist Struck at Independence and 6th, SE

Approx Time: 7AM
Description: Taxi cab driver ran a red light heading eastbound on Independence Ave., striking the cyclist riding northbound in the bike lane on 6th St SE. Cyclist was taken to GW Hospital and sustained a head contusion and road rash.
